Water Well Testing & Inspections
We are authorized by the State of Michigan to draw water samples for testing of Coliform/E-Coli, Nitrates, VOC’s, and a multitude of other tests. If you are having trouble getting clean samples for your home sale please call us. We are experts at cleaning up difficult wells with bacteria issues and we can expedite your testing so you can keep your closing on schedule.
For home buyers, we also recommend having a registered well driller - such as ourselves - perform a mechanical inspection if the home has an existing water well which has not been inspected by an expert. We can often find the water system's repair history and can let you know the actual condition of your water system and what to expect for repair costs in the future.
We are registered with Barry/Eaton County as
TOST Evaluators for water well and septic systems and will assist you in meeting the requirements of their time of sale/transfer program.
Well Water Testing
We offer free
non-certified drinking water testing for nitrates, iron, hardness and more, and we provide
state certified lab water testing for coliform bacteria, e-coli, arsenic, partial chemical, and virtually any substance you need to test for. We are authorized by the State of Michigan to collect water samples from water well systems. It is our goal to provide you with water test results by the next business day. We can also provide emergency water testing and laboratory testing over the weekend, if you have an emergency situation.
Municipal Water Hook-Ups
If you need to connect to a municipal water supply and decommission your existing well we are bonded in many water districts to install your new water line and water meter. We have specialty boring equipment to install water lines under sidewalks and decks and we are registered well drilling contractors with the State if Michigan so we can perform
certified well abandonment and plug your old well that is being taken out of service along with installing your water line.
Buried Pipeline and Wire Location
We have water line locating equipment to help you locate buried water and power lines on your property that Miss Dig will not stake. Give us a call before you dig!
